Bee on Cosmos

In Scotland it is rarely hot enough to need air conditioning, but today I was very glad to have my electric fan in the lounge, as even with the blinds drawn from early morning, it was very hot.

Bob went to the gym, which I thought was brave in this heat.  After cleaning the toilets and doing the recycling stuff, I sat with the newspaper on the deck and had a cuppa.

The garden is full of bees and other insects just now and I enjoyed watching and listening to the hum.  The Cosmos and the Lavender were very attractive to them.  Only a few butterflies though.  I tried some photos and this was the best I did.  Hopefully it is fine for Flower Friday also.
