Dumfries House

Another hot day.  We were tempted to go to the sea, but decided at the last minute that it would be very busy, and opted to visit Dumfries House, as it is a while since we have visited.

It was busy, but plenty of room for all.  We walked to the Walled Garden and while Bob had a seat I wandered around, and took some photos naturally.  (See extra).  

All tours were fully booked which is great economically for them.   We have no need of a tour nowadays but like to wander.  For those who haven't visited before I highly recommend a tour of the house.

When we came back to the visitor centre we had in mind to have an ice cream, but they had sold so much that they ran out.  So we waited in line at the cafe and I had a milk shake while Bob had a coffee.

Left Bob finishing his coffee and walked up to the house to take my main photograph before a very enjoyable run through the countryside and home.

It was a very enjoyable day!
