Turkey ..

..at Goose Eye.
Yes this really is the Turkey Inn at a place called Goose Eye and tonight we ‘ladies who used to travel’ have enjoyed an excellent meal  there. It is above Keighley and very close to the village of Laycock where my daughter had her wedding reception in the village hall 10 years ago.
The Inn is notable for being at the foot of a very steep hill in and out of the hamlet.

Lots of people sat outside when we arrived but inside was empty when we took our table. A good meal and by the time we were leaving it was pretty well packed. This view was taken of the Inn with the lovely evening sky behind as we left at 7.45pm.

I had decided to try to get a blip tonight for something a bit different from flowers again and am happy that I succeeded. 

Just home in time for the first match of the Rugby Union World Cup in Paris. I’m neutral but it’s looking pretty even so far.
