Seeking Shade

Just opposite the cottage where we have been staying is just across the coastal road from the beach. It has a mix of sand and pebbles . Many of the pebbles are flat and lend themselves to being assembled into towers. Rather liked this construction on my morning walk.

Whilst Richard was having dialysis I decided on a walk which kept me in the shade as much as possible. I walked part of the wooded shore of Crummock Water. Had to smile at the paddle boarding dog! 

As our week of unbelievable weather draws to a close I’d like to thank those that have commented on the photos. A really enjoyable week for our first time with Richard on dialysis. It gives us confidence to plan future adventures.
