EB today. I saw some very nice small greenhouses and was very tempted. Have been measuring possible spaces outside and decided this was the best option.
Had planned a quiet domestic day catching up with things after my few days away. When I realised how hot it was going to be I decided it wouldn’t include any gardening! Temperature got up to 30 degrees- too hot for me. Did deadhead everything though and did a bit of sorting in the shelter. Went food shopping, N and B dropped my keys off and collected her payment and then L called round to use my tumble drier and stayed for coffee. It was reasonably pleasant in the shady area at the back of the house with the sound of water from the water feature . Think we may have a plan to put up some horizontal trellis to form a ‘bridge’ for a climbing plant. Sm hoping she will assist with it once she gets back from Georgia. Will need to wait until October though.
