Tintern

Middday Mrs BB and I, set off on a cycle ride from the Forestry Car Park in Tintern (Monmouthshire, South Wales UK) to cycle along the national cycle network through the Tiddenham Tunnel to Chepstow. It was a really hot day but shaded a lot of the way with foliage.

The main photo' is taken from the old wireowrks tramway bridge over the River Wye which has just been restored and recently opened. The extra is an overhead view of it with some canoeists.

The photo' shows Tintern Abbey (1269AD) which is an iconic Welsh landmark and visitor attraction.

We're off out tonight with neighbour Jane as her husband is away for the weekend, fishing.
