Walking Group

Back to Duxbury Woods with the Walking Group today. We did the walk the opposite way round to yesterday so it felt and looked quite different for me. We did get one short sharp shower of rain as we walked along the canal but it had a welcome cooling effect. I was pleased we did the walk the other way as we were under the trees in the wood when the sun was at its hottest. We finished with a lovely lunch at The Owls restaurant. 

It was a bit misty when we started but it soon burnt off. Not so at the coast apparently. The Red Arrows were not able to perform at the Southport Airshow as Blackpool runway was too wet and the cloud cover was too low. I felt sorry for those who attended the show.
