Second Saturday

A grand walking day; weather to make the most of before the end of summer. No 8 bus to the start point (in extra) then mostly shaded walking to and around the Drum Estate . They'd been cutting oats; the straw hadn't yet been baled. 

From the estate back to the Gilmerton Road; got a no 3 bus back to the city; slow going as often happens on Saturday afternoons.
