Lanyon Homestead
This afternoon we visited historic Lanyon, a beautifully maintained rural property on the Murrumbidgee River 30kms south of Canberra.
The homestead was built in 1859 with the main blip showing isbi discussing the finer points of the decor in the main dining room. The first extra is looking north from the garden over the Murrumbidgee and the second, looking south from the same spot, showing the homestead itself.
A relaxing afternoon in scenic and historic rural surroundings!
Heading home tomorrow but we might drop into the National Portrait Gallery first for a bit of kultcha.
