Wellness Walk on Wheels - Seagull
Well on the 8th, my Covid test came back positive, so we were all moved to a different ward for isolation. My partner also caught Covid. This coincided with one of the hottest weeks of the year.
While in isolation, I received quite a bit of physio, and managed to walk around the room with crutches. The right hip is still very painful. I gradually increased the distance each day. I am getting quite adept at turning around.
At the beginning, they found a haematoma in my elbow joint, so that has to be operated on, but thankfully by the 11th then I was on the mend, and the operation to remove the haematoma was a success.
By the 12th, I had no Covid symptoms for the second day in a row, so could leave isolation.
My partner could not visit until the 17th as it took her longer to recover.
