Fiery Sunrise
It looks like today was going to be the last of the hot days, seven in a row over 30 deg C somewhere in the country, a record for September.
It was a chance for another sunrise, though the mist of previous days didn't really develop. I went down to Chasewater reservoir and found the best position to be on the canal feeder that the reservoir was built to supply. It was quite cloudy, but fortunately a gap towards the east allowed this light to develop. Shortly after we even had our first drops of rain for some time.
Later we headed to Chillington Hall for more equestrian eventing. This was definitely at the other end of the scale from last Saturday, but despite that you have to admire the skills of horse and rider, particularly when jumping combinations of fences close together. I've added an extra as I just love the expressions you get from riders.
