Just chillin'...

There is a giant oak tree at the marsh that must be fairly hollow down the middle - not a good thing for a giant oak tree. The last few years (likely more, but the marsh has only existed since the autumn of 2011) a family of raccoons has been observed hanging out in an opening in the tree about 40 feet off the ground. This was the first time that a raccoon was there, I had a camera with an appropriate lens, and there was enough light in the canopy that it wasn't a grey blur.
