Stars indeed!

This is Allium christophii (Stars of Persia). A few years back I decided that I needed more spring bulbs in the garden, but I only wanted "true species", not horticultural hybrids. This is one of my favourites of the bunch!! Unfortunately the destruct-o-saurus (AKA Bugsie) likes to snap the stems if she's outside in the driveway on her lead. Luckily the weather has been so crappy that the few blips I get are between seemingly never-ending bouts of rain.
