Beautiful Scotland 2023

On our way southwards we stopped in Forres to have look at the floral displays in Grant Park. They have always been beautiful in the past and while wandering round this morning we discovered that they had won the Beautiful Scotland trophy this year for the best medium size town in bloom. The hanging baskets along the high street were a feast for the eyes.
Our home for the next three nights is the campsite at Grantown as Nick has booked two days fishing on the River Spey. He was very pleased to see the rain arrive in the evening as the weather for the past week has been far too hot and sunny for fishing.
