South Africa comes to Oban

Dull and drizzly again today, not that it mattered as I had three appointments - dentist, audiologist and doctor! All just happened to be on the same day - I didn't arrange them!

Back to a plant Blip! This is Pelargonium sidoides, a species from South Africa. I was given cuttings of this plant by a lady in Norfolk on one of my garden tours back in 2016. It's pretty tender, but had survived outside for a number of years until it was killed in the winter of 2020/2021. As you can imagine, it enjoys a dry and sunny spot, not our usual climate! Fortunately I had a spare piece in a pot which has survived.

A bit different from the average - I must take more care of it!
