Ruellia makayona

My sister and her husband returned here from an enjoyable and interesting but expensive trip to Amsterdam.  

I noticed one of my  houseplants, a Ruellia, has produced a flower.  I think it is usually grown for its foliage but occasionally it blooms in late summer/ autumn.  Hope it flowers again. Last year it only produced a solitary flower.
