Glads

I bought a bunch of gladioli in the supermarket over a week ago.  They've lasted well, but are now starting to go over.

W has been busy - he picked up the leaf debris (sadly, many of the trees on our boundary are ash, and are showing damage from ash die back, dropping leaves and small twigs in abundance at present) from the grass with the mower, cut down a few more hedge plants, and then experimented with a lentil loaf for dinner, which was rather tasty.

I, on the other hand, did nothing different to many other days - must get out more!
