Thistle

Another session weeding the area alongside the ditch.  Lots of nettles and brambles, and quite a few thistles.  I've uncovered more foxglove babies - hopefully we'll have a good showing next year.  I may get this area finished tomorrow. 

We also made progress in the construction of the polytunnel - it's like a huge Meccano set, but the nuts are small, and incredibly fiddly.  I've put a photo in extras of the current stage of construction - if the weather keeps fine, we may get it put together tomorrow.  Then there are lots of holes to dig to sink the legs.
