Another hot day. 
We spent the morning in Greenwich park.
L wanted to do a bit of mudlarking on the Thames, so we took the Thames clipper from Greenwich to Bankside. 
Lots of clay pipe stems, but no pipe bowls. 
We cooled down in the Tate, then went to St Katherine’s Wharf for dinner. 

A view on the city in the day (and dusk in extra)
A great pity the distinctive Gherkin skyscraper has been crowded in and obscured.
Somebody needs to tell London city planners that less is more.
