One last time
Backblip 6
Breakfast at our accommodation in Richmond, then up the A1 to Wooler.
The flat was OK, and though we'd brought cleaning equipment with us, it wasn't necessary to use any. We took meter readings in the hope that the sale goes through in the next couple of weeks, then the only thing left was to take MrM's large ladders and roofing ladders to Carolyn's house. MrM is gifting them, as we have no means to get them down to Holmfirth. Carolyn and I carried one set of ladders down the hill, and MrM took the other - we must have looked like a comedy act! We stayed for a cup of tea, then went back to the flat and locked up for what might be the last time, fingers crossed. On the way out, I couldn't resist a shot or two of the hips on the Rosa glauca in the 'yard. (Didn't notice the cobweb to the top right of the photo until I looked at it on the computer.)
Back down to our new-ish abode for the night.
