The Rain Today

Now...I'm not complaining, I love a sunny day but I've found the very high temperatures we've had rather tiring and restrictive.  Our bungalow just seems to have got hotter every day.  So, I was pleased that we've had almost a whole day of rain today.  Certainly our garden needs it and it has cooled everything down inside and outside.

This photo was taken through the conservatory window at lunchtime, while we were being deafened by the heavy rain.  My potted begonias always seem to put on a good show.
