Cygnets in Training

A lovely warm day

We went down to the Fishing Lake in the Caravan Park. There are two Swans in the Lake along with seven 18 week old Cygnets. While we were at the end of the lake we suddenly heard the sound of many wings flapping on the water. It was like an RAF Squadron in formation, except they didn’t take off. It was a training exercise and it will take some time before the young ones can fly. Best viewed on a large screen.
