Tantallon Castle
A lovely bright day
We went to visit Tantallon Castle near North Berwick which is a ruined mid-14th-century fortress. It sits on top of a promontory opposite the Bass Rock, looking out onto the Firth of Forth.
Afterwards, we visited the Sea Bird Centre in North Berwick which is a fascinating educational display of the natural world, including migration patterns of birds and sea creatures as well as the effect of climate change.
By the time I got home I was very tired from all the walking but was in time to see Jack Draper win their Singles matches to give GB a winning 2-0 victory in their first round of the David Cup.
