Laden

The heat wave seems to be coming to an end, thank goodness, though it's still T-shirt weather. A little bit of rain this morning, but it stayed dry while I walked in to town and back for a couple of essentials. Passed this apple tree both ways - it's absolutely laden with big red apples. It's in a garden but overhangs the road, and crows and magpies were feasting on the windfalls.

Heavy rain this evening, and a thunderstorm rumbled around for a while. Lots of sheet lightning lighting up the sky.
