Mythical Creature Street Scene

Today we had to head back home after our mini-break in Margate. Before we left we still found time for a quick early morning run along the seafront, past the Lido and Turner Contemporary and back to the apartment for one last chance to breathe in that glorious sea air. We had a fabulous time and we'll definitely be back soon!
Our homeward journey was pretty uneventful until we got as far as Molash where the police had closed the road due to what looked like a serious road accident. We just hope that everybody came out unscathed.
This meant we had to find a detour. Luckily my brother had google maps on his phone and this took us down some wonderfully picturesque Kent country roads starting out at the fabulously named Old Wives Lees.
We were soon back on track and even managed to stop at our usual Sunday haunt of The Horseshoes for a pint to celebrate how much we'd thoroughly enjoyed our trip.
Once back home we needed to pop out to the shops for supplies so of course I still took my camera and managed to capture this shot just yards from my front door. Unfortunately I was unable to procure the services of a member of an imaginary race of humanlike creatures, characterised as ugly, warlike and malevolent (an orc) or a mythical creature that has been described since antiquity as a beast with a single large, pointed, spiralling horn projecting from its forehead (a unicorn) so you'll have to make do with a slightly photographically manipulated street sign and an abandoned child's party bag! :-)
