Potfest 2013

Apothecary7, Maeve the Deerhound and I had a little trip to Potfest today. It didn't take too long for us to drive through to Perth and head for Scone Palace, where the event was being held.

We had a walk round all the exhibitors displays in the marquees with Maeve, who made lots of new friends both doggy and human, then went back to the car and got our picnic lunch. Just next to where we had parked were picnic tables in a lovely wooded area of the grounds, with colourful scented azaleas in a shady setting.

After lunch Maeve stayed in the car while we had another look round. We chose two small things from the huge selection available. A nice vase from the stand in my blip, and a blue bowl from another. We thought the quality and range of styles of the products on offer was wonderful and the event really well organised and well set out.
