A flower at last

I was amazed to see that the gladioli leaves had at last sprouted a flower. I was ready to cut the plants down  the other day but so glad I didn't do it. 
I went to Tai Chi then drove to Burnley to the dentist. I called at B and M to get a new clothes airer. I had ordered one from that internet company and when I opened the box the leg was broken so it was useless. I have returned it and sent an email to the company.
