Eva has been fretting about a pairs hunter trial we've entered at the end of the month and seems to have lost her XC mojo so we did a last minute hire at Barrowcliffe. Had the place to ourselves. Light was beautiful. Had a word with Jack beforehand about the brakes and he behaved impeccably bless him. Eva was buzzing at the end. So glad it's given her confidence a boost.

I had a lovely hack on Lime this morning. He was excited to go a different route and took off in canter through the woods. I just smile now and let him get on with it- I'm so happy when he feels good enough to go! 

Spent this afternoon starting to pack up all our books. Didn't even manage to clear a bookcase before I ran out of boxes so got some on order to come tomorrow. Had an email from the solicitor so things are happening in the background!
