Cape Robin Chat

Patience was rewarded when this lovely Robin sat posing on a branch outside my study window. I took photos through the window as it is such a shy bird, it would have flown away if I had moved. I have been trying to get a photo of this bird for a long time so I'm happy with this one, even if the lighting was not perfect. Luckily the window was clean!!
It's DIL Phil's birthday today. I look forward to a video chat with the family in Canada later.
