MOVING ON..

Well our time at Sri Lanka has come to an end. We travelled around about 1/3 of the island in 9 days and saw so much. It’s been a whirlwind!!

#when on Sri Lanka eat curry for breakfast…so on our last day I did :))) there was sooo much!!
#this is the hotel lobby. You can see the blue and white Portuguese pottery..the first door on the left was our room.
#after yet another horrendous downpour we were collected at 8 by our guide for our last excursion…to the airport. He has been a fantastic guide and I would recommend him to anyone thinking of visiting. Our flight transfer was good and after an hour or so we glimpsed the Maldives from the plane window…magical. We were met by a representative and within 10mins we were on the speed boat for our 30 min journey to Little Hura and the Cinnamon Dhonveli resort.

Besides a dip in the sea and reading we did little else. Dinner was confusing as when we went there we were told this wasn’t our restaurant….thought we had access to all???? TO BE SORTED TOMORROW
