ROOM DECISIONS

As we came in by boat I noticed a 2 storey set of rooms. They didn’t look amazing. When we were at reception we were given a map and told where it was not safe to swim…one place was near these rooms and yes one was allocated to us. We asked about an upgrade and we’re shown 3 beautiful villas..one on stilts over the ocean, one with a private dipping pool and this one.
All 3 were lovely but this room gave us access to all 3 restaurants and special events….I let The Rev choose. (I really wanted the room over the ocean but have since found out people have asked to be moved as the surf from the ocean is sooo noisy!).
It was more ££££s but we are sooo pleased we did it.
#love the outside bathroom…jacuzzi tub, double sinks and a rain shower (although we had plenty of those in Sri Lanka for free)
#had to have my tiara moment in the shower!!
#this is the view from our veranda..that has dining set, 2 couches and sun beds. It is 40 steps from door to ocean :))))
#Our bedroom for 7 nights. No more 1 night stays ….hooray!!!!

Spent the morning on the beach …pics tomorrow. The water is sooo clear and there are lots of fish even ray fish about 60 cm wide!! Then we wandered along to the bar and spent sometime by the infinity pool.

We worked out the restaurant confusing I added onto yesterday’s blip…we have a permanent table at the top restaurant and just need to book the others.
Gosh did we notice the difference tonight…beautiful ocean location, jazz musician, similar excellent food but the service was above and beyond.

Just wowed by the details in our room.
50/60 treats…aarrgghh I’m running out!!!
