Mini Squash
In May, I had planted four butternut squash plants. They guzzled up lots of water over the summer, and produced plenty of flowers, but no fruit.
Only now two of the plants finally decided to produce one minuscule, very green squash each. I don't think they will ripen properly before the first frost, but perhaps we can then cook a tiny pot of soup from them.
A busy day with work, a visit to the gym, and some gardening. Feet up now.
Thank you all for yesterday’s kind birthday wishes for my mother!
