Diamond-Backed Terrapin Hatchling

I met up with Wendy this morning, who is also staying on Cape Cod and we had a wonderful outing to the Massachusetts Audubon Wellfleet Bay Wildlife Sanctuary.  We saw several juvenile Black Crowned Night Herons and one Yellow Crowned.  At one point we came across an area that was roped off for turtle nesting.  On our way back to the car, we encountered some folks who had just rescued some new turtles, freshly hatched in that same area.  They are quite cute and only about 1 inch long.
