A whole day…!

A whole day at school today for this little lady. She’ll have been very tired this evening.

I took four plum crumble portions to Iris this morning, together with her birthday card and balloon for Saturday. She’ll have other visitors then and for the next ten days. She had a few jobs for me to do first.

Valerie has been very poorly this week spending two days in A&E and having various ultrasounds and scans. We’re so grateful the medication has eased her pain and discomfort, but no chemotherapy for her for two weeks. It’s been worrying for us onlookers, as other friends here will totally understand. We can do so little but phone and send messages of love and support, and we do pray. Tonight she’s feeling more comfortable. We shall feel a long way away while away, trusting in the internet when possible. Our gratefuls for our dear sis are big.
