Going Home:-).Evacuation Order lifted.

Exactly one month since being evacuated, Marc, Richelle, Jake and Charlie their dog, got to return home today.
These are the fridges we took to the curb. They are considered hazardous waste and not to be opened. They were picked up at days end.


Extra 1: I picked up a new fridge this morning...you can also see just how close the fire came to their log home. (Red Roof:-)


Extra 2: About 300 meters around the corner you can see three homes that were incinerated on the lower side of the road.  About 30 homes in their subdivision of about 95 homes...are gone. There are over 200 homes that this large fire destroyed plus .....the famous, 'Lake Okanagan Resort'.
