Junior Cycling Course

After a pleasant picnic and play in Woluwe park with friends to celebrate Father's Day (in Belgium) we all attended a cycling course for 3 - 6 year olds. I was asked to take photos for the BCT Smalltalk magazine and out of 200+ photos I decided to choose this one of Dexter to blip as despite being the youngest he was an absolute star. Initially I was wary of letting him do the course as I felt he'd be too young but I'm so pleased I signed him up now as he followed the instructions and although he couldn't do the safety quiz at the end he did everything else.

He took the hand signalling very seriously and did it every time he turned, bless him.

Olivia was also fab and was super fast at weaving in and out of cones, high fiving whilst cycling and ducking under barriers. However she just seemed to look so big on her bike which has happened all of a sudden so we think it may be time to buy a bigger one, which wasn't in the plan yet, especially as we already have her birthday present sorted. Hubby thinks bikes don't always have to be given at Birthdays or Christmas as children grow so quickly, so we may have to go bike shopping soon. Any recommendations of good bike shops in Brussels would be much appreciated!
