Feather

We managed to get up early in order to do our second breeding-bird-survey walk - there were quite a few about, but there were also more humans around than is usual at 6.30-ish on a Sunday morning. Some of them were loud drunken blokes presumably on their way home from an all-nighter but there were also lots of women (and a few men) clad in various pink garments and highly ornamented bras, since the Moon Walk started at midnight and they were trudging down towards the finish at Leith Links.

Just after we'd finished counting birds I saw this feather on Leith Walk.
