Soap?
Now wash your hands please.
Who else remembers having that printed on their primary school toilet paper? The scratchiest paper in the world.
Anyway. I digress. A day that started with a phone call telling me part of my bed frame / mattress combo wasn't being delivered as promise das it wasn't on the lorry and we don't know why. I tried not to get cross with her, she was just the messenger.
Three hours later the delivery people turned up, and seemed very confused when I suggested the mattress might be coming later as they had one, with my name on it, in the back of the van. I gave up at that point. I hope another one doesn't turn up tomorrow.
After a bit of juggling flat pack furniture construction (very simple in the end with just eight screws) with work meetings I went to a long standing colleagues leaving do. It was nice to see a few old friends but sadly there weren't as many people there as anyone thought. S had a good send off though which is all that counts.
