HIDING

After picking up what appeared to be the last ever 2.3*0.5 VIKEDAL yesterday, it was odd to see two more appearing in stock on the website today. I again trundled off to try and get one, to find that (according to the bloke on the desk) they had since been reserved in-store by someone, as a call to the warehouse found no trace of them. I instead went to measure some prospective desks so that the journey wasn't entirely wasted, grabbed a couple of extra bits and then checked the desk again on the way out just in case. A different operative again suspected that they were not in the warehouse but suggested that the weird status might mean that they had been returned, in which case they might be in the bargain corner. Seconds later, they were located. I picked the least bashed-looking box and returned home, only slightly triumphantly as the bargain corner version was £12 cheaper than the full-price one from yesterday.
