Hill End no.3

These 2 chimneys belong to the Hill End hall, dating from 1900. The Royal next door was established in 1872.
Soil: the wonderful colour of the ground with some markings on it. No wonder the artists found it inspiring.

very cocksure at about 4.30 in the morning!
A distant view from Bald Hill (I think). Steep hills sloping down to form a narrow valley - a very remote area of countryside.
