Finding sustenance

This has been a quiet day of household chores and reading. Mid-afternoon I put an empty milk bottle in a bag, along with money for filling the bottle, plus a list of what we wanted to eat from the newly opened Crusty Kebabs take away wagon by the Woodlands Park Store and my EFTPOS card to order our dinner to be picked up at 6:15 pm. Walked there and back.

On the way back I saw a Tui fly into a Bottle Brush shrub, to take nectar from the flowers. Pollen was smeared on its head from early in its hunt for food. The orange smear got larger and larger as I watched.

When I went back this evening for our dinner, I took a photo of the Kebab sellers. Its an extra for today
