Jude is always delighted when Piper comes round from next door. 

Eda has gone off with her other neighbours and friend Madeleine to see her mum in Oliver this afternoon so Jude was left behind. We’d thought about going out but after some early rain it’s been a bit dull and we haven’t got the car seat fixed in our car. She was playing happily till Chris put the TV on to see if there was any rugby. ( It wasn’t on till later and he fell asleep anyway!) Straight away she wanted to watch Bluey so I put it on my iPad. She was happy sitting on the step stool with an orange when Piper appeared at the door sporting ‘high heeled’ slip ons with a pair for both
Jude and Eda to wear. They continued watching a couple of episodes of Bluey and shared another orange before making up some fantasy play and disappearing upstairs to create havoc.
They’ve now disappeared next door and left all the shoes behind!

No doubt we will have Madeleine too when Eda gets back, they don’t always get on in numbers but it’s nice that they are there. Piper has started school in Eda’s class so she is a bit older and Jude can end up being left out. She’s thrilled to have a friend!
