Portrait of the Artist

I nipped into Bantry for some provisions and was side tracked by a wonderful exhibition by the exceptionally talented Ann Martin . Her portraits and local scenes are brilliant as you can spend hours trying to recognise everyone, and I hadn't realised how beautiful her still life work is either. I took a sneaky blip of her as she sat in the sunshine outside the old church which has been miraculously turned into an attractive gallery.
Yes, sunshine - after three days of solid rain, the sun came out. It was very breezy and we did the Rossmore loop, the cloudage magnificent and the heather still colourful.
Himself has headed upstairs for the rugby and I am catching up with stuff.
There's also a new blog.
