Buttercup backdrop

Oh happy days, yet another glorious sunny Saturday. After all the necessary dull stuff had been dealt with and our town gala procession had passed by the end of our road, we headed off for a late afternoon walk. Started at Burnsall, heaving with happy people, and headed off along the Dales Way, passing alongside the glittering Wharfe. Fish jumpin and the cotton was high buttercups glowing golden carpets in the fields. Simply gorgeous. Arrived at Parceval Hall Gardens in time for a quick drink, then on to Trollers Gill (home to Holmes' Hound of the Baskervilles, but today only a couple of rabbits and some climbers). Then back over the tops with Lapwings and Curlews for company and back down a stunning green lane scattering sheep as we went. This one posed beautifully and gets the blip because of the buttercup yellow backdrop.
