Tarskavaig
We explored The Sleat Peninsula today or should I say this afternoon. The weather was bad in the morning but was due to pick up about one so we had a late start. The peninsula is only about 20 miles from where we are staying so we were there in no time at all.
The circular drive around the peninsula is single track all the way so care is needed. To start we got held up by a herd of cows heading home for milking but after that we only came across a handful of cars.
The photo is of the beautiful rocky shoreline at Tarskavaig but the highlight of the day was the view across Loch Slapin to the Cuillin Hills and especially Bla Bheinn or Blaven as it is usually called. It took the breath away.
Sal went for an evening run and is now making Cajun Chicken for our evening meal. She is a star!
