Glenelg Ferry to Kylerhea Ferry

Our first day on Skye. Sal was feeling jaded after yesterdays travelling and as the weather was dull with rain forecast, she decided to stay at the cottage whilst I went for a short drive on to Skye.
I’d seen this ferry crossing from the mainland side so went to explore the road on the Skye side.
It was nothing special until the road started to drop down to Kylerhea. The view opened up and there was a viewpoint looking down on the Loch with the mountains beyond.
I thought of doing a blip of that but decided to post one of the unique ferry which crosses the Sound. As you can see, the deck swivels round to let the cars on/off.
In the evening we went for a short tootle to Kyleakin and then on to Broadford coop to get some bits in.
