Broken Tracks

As it is Tuesday I thought that I would have a play with the macro lens with the extension tubes again.  The theme for next month’s photo group meeting is ‘Tracks’, so the track on this old broken 78 became the subject.
 
Now you would think a straight forward focus stack would get this image!?  No matter what combination and/or retakes I made, the bottom left hand corner was blurred.  So the final image is a two frame stack using one of the failed stacks, and a shot with the corner in focus – what a palaver.
