Travelling

Early start, up at 4:30am, showered and a cooked breakfast before Mrs S dropped me at Ponsharden to meet up with the others.
We set off around 6:15 and made our way out of Cornwall and onto the M5 for our first coffee stop.
Onwards now on the M4 for the second stop at Reading where we were finally all together. We made our way through the London outskirts before arriving at Richmond and then to Ham where the gig was lifted into the water ready for towing.
Next stop was the campsite where the tents and vans were made ready, awnings up, beds made and kit set out ready then the inevitable beers.
During the evening, whilst the gigs were being towed down river, (main picture), we readied ourselves with half a dozen beers and a couple of hog roast rolls before turning in.

Not sure if this is a proper ‘pre-event’ preparation but it’ll do for us.
