Tired and emotional

The end of the journey of Tor des Geants for Giles.
We were up early in Courmayer to head up to the finish line. Great to see lots of competitors coming through from the 330kTDG and also the 450k Tor des Glacier.
According to Strava G ran 380k (zig zags account for the extra I presume) and elevation gain was 24k metres - lots a lot.
We were all feeling rather emotional as he trotted in to town and over the line. Brilliant job. Of the 1000 starters there was a drop out of around 40%. But a huge achievement for all.
