Lunch meet up

Let’s meet on the pass we said ..
There’s a back story, but the upshot is that our friends were on one side of a mountain pass and we were on the other. No road between us, just 10k and 1000metre up and over.
So we left our respective campsites and met in the middle, on the pass between Valbone and Thethi. For a picnic and chat.
Great hike, fabulous views. Not a quiet wilderness experience though as this is a major tourist attraction in Albania. We were one of many heading up to the pass, and arrived at rush hour. By the time we headed back down a few hours later it was much quieter and very enjoyable.
